Recipe: Tuna casserole

This simple tuna casserole is a fuss-free, quick and easy meal that will feed the whole family. If you have more time, feel free to add green beans or other vegetables to the recipe.

Tuna casserole recipe - serves 8

Ingredients for tuna casserole

  • 2 large cans of tuna, drained
  • 1 can of condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 3 cups of cooked macaroni
  • 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups of French onions, fried

Instructions for making tuna casserole

  1. Preheat the oven to 175C/350F
  2. Combine the chicken soup, macaroni and tuna in a large baking dish. Mix well
  3. Top the mixture with cheese
  4. Bake for 25 minutes - until bubbly
  5. Sprinkle with the fried onions and bake for another 5 minutes
